 Kaitlyn Lewis is a wife and mother of two amazing kids. She is also an avid animal lover and owns an American Bully. Kaitlyn has dabbled with writing in her downtime in terms of creative writing. Kaitlyn is self-taught and has built a fantastic team editor-wise. From 2015 until 2019, she was in the U.S. Army as an active-duty soldier. Kaitlyn received an honorable discharge and picked back up writing ever since. As an author, When she is not spending time with her husband and kids or writing, Kaitlyn can be found gaming with friends. She is also an avid bookworm who loves to get lost in the pages. Due to her spouse still being in the military, she is constantly moving. Her dream is to return to Georgia to live as she fell in love with the area during her husband's career. 

 Kaitlyn spent countless days and nights writing plots and developing characters. She had a dream to publish a book or even a series. Her husband, family, and close friends stood behind her every step of the way. They read her drafts and gave feedback. They pushed her to keep going towards her goal of becoming an author. She worked through writer's block and listened to her playlist to make her dream come true. A playlist of songs she felt an emotional connection to that helped her focus on her characters as she wrote.  

 Kaitlyn spent a little over one year working on her first book. Silence Falls A New Alpha. This book came with writer's block, delays, and more, yet it was the first book she ever published. Kaitlyn weighed the options of trying to publish traditionally or give self-publishing a go; she opted to self-publish for the time being. She has worked hard to market and build a social media presence during this time before releasing her books. Finally, the control over her books and keeping full rights led Kaitlyn to self-publish.
